schedule

🏐 The Lady Bulldogs Volleyball varsity volleyball team struggled this week as they continue to play the bigger schools from our area. The JV team defeated Colquitt County at home in 3 sets on Thursday. The MS Team picked up their first win of the season on Monday at Georgia Christian.

All 3 teams are back in action on Tuesday at North Florida Christian in Tallahassee.

πŸ₯Ž The Varsity Softball team was hit with bad weather this week and were unable to play any of their scheduled games. They return to action on Tuesday in Albany as they take on Monroe in the Region 1-AAA opener. The girls will return home on Thursday as they host the Lady Tornadoes in a doubleheader starting at 4:00 PM!

The Middle School Lady Dogs went 2-1 on the week, defeating Whigham at home on Tuesday and splitting with Cook at home on Thursday. The girls are back in action Tuesday as they travel to Whigham and return home Wednesday to host Thomas County.

πŸ‘ŸThe Cross Country team began their season on Saturday at Sherwood Christian in Albany. Congratulations to the Middle School Boys team on winning their division. The Varsity boys team finished 8th out of 18 teams.

🏈 The 7th grade Bulldogs got the week off to a great start on the gridiron, defeating the Colquitt 7th grade team by a score of 36-6 on Wednesday. The 8th grade was not as lucky on Thursday at Colquitt, falling by the score of 0-36.

Friday night at the Vet was rockin’ and the Dogs did not disappoint, coming away with a 42-20 victory over the Brooks County Trojans!

A special thank you to all of those that help make Friday nights in Thomasville so special: AFJROTC, the THS Marching Bulldogs, Red Hots, Dance Dawgs, Diamond Dogs, and the THS Cheerleaders. A big shout out to the student section for showing up and being loud from the beginning. We will need that same energy this week as we head down the road to take on TCC.

Gameday events will begin early as we are hosting the WCTV Morning Pep Rally at Veterans Memorial Stadium beginning at 5:45 AM this upcoming Friday. More details will follow soon, but we need a big crowd of students to show up and BE LOUD, showing off our Bulldog spirit and energy!

Details on tickets and parking for the game at TCC will be released later today!

πŸ“£ Be sure to see a THS Cheerleader to purchase your Bulldog Country yard sign! Paint the town Red and Gold!
