Ms. Keena Hardin and Mr. Bryson Daniels spoke to the Mr. Bryant's American Government class about the role of a juror as part of the preparations for the upcoming Mock Election. Additionally, a Thomas County Court Security Officer discussed the responsibilities of court security and the bailiff. Thomas County Assistant District Attorney Jess Hornsby provided insights into the roles of the prosecuting attorney, defense attorney, and jury as students prepare for the Mock Trial.

🧬 Our Biology students presented their research on genetic disorders, uncovering the wide range of conditions that can impact a person’s life. The classes were amazed by the variety and complexity of these disorders, gaining a deeper understanding of genetics and human health.
Our ECE I students took a trip down memory lane while evaluating toddler TV shows! 📺 They analyzed whether these popular shows are truly educational, getting in touch with their inner toddlers along the way. This fun flashback experience helped them better understand what captivates young minds.
🧪 Fun in 9th Grade Algebra Honors! 🧪 Yesterday, Thomasville High School’s 9th grade Algebra Honors students dove into exponential growth with an exciting twist—a Zombie Invasion Exponential Functions Lab! 🧟♂️📈 Through this hands-on experiment, students explored the math behind exponential growth in a thrilling and memorable way. Learning is always more fun with a little imagination! Great job, future mathematicians!
The Rotary Club recognized Thomasville High School’s Senior Students of the Month for September and October, Mia Young and Arkeyse Edwards. Each student was accompanied by a THS mentor who has supported them throughout their journey. Mia Young selected Mrs. Ashley Ivey-Jackson, and Arkeyse Edwards selected Coach Rentz as their mentors, honoring the positive impact these mentors have had on their high school experience.
