4th grade students studied Greek Mythology these past few weeks. The unit ended with an unforgettable Greek Day! Students stepped into the world of the gods and goddesses they’ve been studying and celebrated with hands-on activities and delicious tastes of Greek culture.
From exploring ancient traditions to trying authentic foods, learning truly came to life in the best way. 💙
So proud of the excitement, curiosity, and enthusiasm our students brought to this special day!

✨ Way to go, Second Grade! ✨
Our amazing Second Graders collected 311 cans for their kindness initiative! 🥫💛 Their generosity, teamwork, and big hearts made a BIG impact.
Through this effort, they didn’t just collect food, they collected opportunities to help families in need and showed what kindness in action truly looks like. Each can represents compassion, thoughtfulness, and the power of working together toward something meaningful.
We are so proud of these students for stepping up, giving back, and proving that even the smallest hands can make a huge difference in our community. Keep spreading kindness, Second Grade, you are making the world brighter one act at a time! 🌟

Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt is a middle-grade novel about a bright sixth-grader named Ally Nickerson who has dyslexia, which she hides through disruptive behavior to avoid being seen as "dumb". The story follows her journey as a new teacher, Mr. Daniels, recognizes her potential and helps her understand that "everybody is smart in different ways," teaching her to embrace her strengths and overcome her self-doubt. The book explores themes of learning differences, self-esteem, and the power of empathy and supportive educators.
5th grade students took some time to illustrate animals doing tasks they normally “couldn’t do.” They discussed the importance of giving their best and being kind to those that might think differently than them.
Way to go, 5th graders! Your creativity and thoughtful conversations truly shined. You showed that when we believe in ourselves, try our best, and treat others with kindness and respect, there’s no limit to what we can imagine or achieve. Keep thinking big and supporting one another. We’re so proud of you!
