Plant power!
🌱Shoutout to our JES 2nd graders who are tasked with keeping our plants thriving. The students rotate responsibilities as they water and care for the planters around our campus.🌼

Marvelous Monday!

🍎 Pre-K Apple Adventures! 🍎
Mrs. Mitchell, Mrs. Stewart, and Mrs. Wallace’s Pre-K class spent the week learning all about apples! The students had a blast exploring with hands-on activities. They made an exciting Apple-cano, conducted a taste test experiment to discover their favorite apples, sorted apples by sizes, and tested their predictions with a fun sink or float experiment. 🍏🍎🍐

Learning has never been so a-peeling! 🍎✨

❤️Earlier this week we lifted up two of our JES family members, Rhea Mills and Christiana , as they continue their courageous fight against cancer. Their strength, grace, and unwavering faith remind us what it means to persevere through life’s hardest battles.

Let’s continue to keep Rhea and Christiana in our hearts and prayers, and let their light inspire us to be strong, compassionate, and faithful-no matter the fight. ✨

📚✨ Growing Readers, Growing Leaders! ✨📚

A few weeks ago, Mrs. Nelms from The Rollins Center joined our elementary classrooms to model powerful literacy lessons for students and teachers. Through this partnership, we’re celebrating the strengths in our current teaching practices while also identifying opportunities to grow even stronger. 🌟

A big thank you to our K-5 Curriculum Director, Dr. Wilson for spearheading this initiative alongside our Instructional Coaches. Together, we’re continuing to build readers into leaders! ❤️💛
