🚀 Bulldog +1 STEM Camp – Final Recap! 🏭🎉 We closed out our first-ever Bulldog +1 STEM Camp with a powerful day of real-world learning and reflection. Our students hit the road to explore STEM careers in action with industry tours at Checkmate Industries and Nichols Lures. From automation and precision engineering to product design and production, students saw firsthand how science, technology, engineering, and math fuel innovation and opportunity right here in our community. 🏢⚙️💡 Back at camp, we wrapped up with collaborative projects, reflection activities, and goal setting for future STEM exploration. Students left with more than new knowledge—they left inspired, confident, and excited about what's next. We are so proud of what was accomplished this week and are thrilled to bring STEM Camp back next year—bigger and better! 🏫 Bulldog +1 STEM Camp – Day 4 Recap: A Real-World Look at the Future! Last week, our students had the incredible opportunity to visit Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC)—and it was nothing short of inspiring! From healthcare and engineering to computer science and manufacturing, students explored a wide range of high-demand career pathways. The highlight of the day was touring SRTC’s Smart Manufacturing Lab, where students got a firsthand look at how automation, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and precision systems are used in today’s cutting-edge industries. 🤖⚙️🔧 Students got hands-on demonstrations, and saw how the STEM concepts they’re learning now connect directly to exciting future careers.
