Some of our Jerger crew walked in the Rose City 5K Walk. They represented us so well, bringing energy, pride, and plenty of smiles along the route.
Events like this remind us what makes our community so special. It is the people coming together, celebrating traditions, and supporting one another.

Fourth graders took learning beyond the classroom with a visit to a neighborhood construction site while studying simple and complex machines! 🏗️

Our very first class to be showcased is Mrs. Mimbs’ 2nd grade class, and we could not be more proud of their incredible work. These students have poured their creativity, imagination, and hard work into writing their very own books! This is an accomplishment they will remember for years to come.
From brainstorming ideas to putting pencil to paper, each student took ownership of their writing and brought their stories to life. Seeing their confidence grow as authors has been truly inspiring!

We proudly highlighted several local figures who have helped shape our community, while our students brought the future to life—dressed as what they dream of becoming one day.

Students stepped back in time as they explored the rich history of the plantation and enjoyed a ride in a wagon around the beautiful grounds. One of the highlights was using magnifying glasses to take a closer look at the flowers and discovering the tiny details of nature up close. 🌸🔍

We were honored to welcome the City of Thomasville to Jerger Elementary as part of Georgia Cities Week (April 20–24)!
As part of this meaningful week of service, city staff members took time to read to our students. They definitely sparked our student's imagination, encouraged a love for reading, and strengthened the connection between our school and community.
