Students in Mr. Kirkley’s Computer Science class at MacIntyre Park Middle School are bringing Black History learning to life through technology. As part of their studies, students designed and coded interactive apps featuring history trivia highlighting influential Black leaders from right here in Thomasville.
This hands-on project blends innovation, research, and creativity — showing how students can use coding skills to honor history while building future-ready technology skills through real-world learning experiences.

We loved starting the day by treating our MacIntyre Park Middle School and Scholars Academy teachers to a special coffee bar — a small way to say thank you for the big impact they make every day. From early mornings to endless encouragement, our teachers truly keep our Bulldog family moving forward.
It’s always a great day to show appreciation for the heart, dedication, and passion our educators bring to our students and schools.

At our January Board of Education meeting this past Tuesday, we were proud to recognize individuals who go above and beyond to support our students and staff at the 6–12 campus.
A special congratulations to our 6–12 Tireless Award recipients—Officer Ramsey, Officer Spivey, and Sgt. Thomas. Thank you for your dedication to keeping our campus safe, for building strong relationships with students, and for being a consistent, positive presence every day. Your impact goes far beyond the badge.
We also extend a heartfelt Bulldog Business Partner shoutout to Allison Woodward with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Day in and day out, you show up for our students—and our staff—providing encouragement, mentorship, and support that strengthens our school community emotionally and spiritually.
Thank you for all you do to support our Bulldogs. We appreciate you more than you know!
They explored the Copeland African American Museum, toured the North and West campuses, and wrapped up the visit with lunch at the Palms Dining Center. A great day of learning, culture, and college exposure!
