Our student of the month for JROTC is First Lieutenant Lily Sherrard.
Lt Sherrard was selected student of the month because she has shown complete commitment and dedication to JROTC since the first day in the program!
Lily has volunteered to work our daily after school fundraiser in the school store. She agreed to lead a team through a drill event for our upcoming 3-year unit evaluation.
She also single-handedly designed a t-shirt and poster for our SkillsUSA Champions Rally contest.
Finally, Lt Sherrard stepped up to be a
spare for our color guard team during our district wide ground breaking ceremony, filling in a last minute request to support our program.
Lily is dependable, trustworthy, and her work ethic is unmatched. We are blessed to have her on our team.
Our CTAE Student of the Month for early childhood education is Shalanda Nixon. Ms. Presha said that this young lady is outstanding in her class, is always prepared, and is always ready to learn.
